Placement Network
European
Placement Network (EPN) specialises in the management of work placements in the
U.K. and Europe.
Established
in 2011, EPN has a wide network of European partners and makes its expertise
available to diverse organisations such as local authorities, private
companies, universities, vocational training centres and schools. We are thus
able to cater for the specific needs of our partners and customers and enhance
the employability of participants.
EPN organises work
placements for young people in education and training, students, apprentices
and job seekers in the UK and all over Europe. EPN can arrange work placements
for those with all levels of qualifications, from GCSE, BTEC and A Levels to
those with Masters degrees. EPN currently manages the international mobility
programmes on behalf of several European regional governments.
EPN
proposes the following services that can be tailored to meet the specific
expectations and requirements of partners:
- Help partners and
customers Assist customers in the research and development of projects and
funding
- Offering work
placements tailored to a person’s profile, skills and qualifications
- Organise
appropriate language training in partnership with recognized schools
- Propose suitable
accommodation
- Provide close
monitoring to beneficiaries throughout their stay
- Coordinate the
certification and valorisation of acquired skills and competencies with sending
partners (ECVETS, Europass, portfolio …)
- Assess and
evaluate the relevance of the actions, the results of projects and participate
in their dissemination.
EPN also plays an active
part in programmes and E.U. funded projects that aim to develop new innovative
approaches to mobility projects and to facilitate life-long learning through
structured experiences in working environments.
In addition to the Head Office in
Bristol, EPN has an office in Manchester and is looking to open a third office
in Erfurt, Germany.

Acudemy is a British training institute based in Central London and is
an accredited Training Provider with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI),
Chartered Logistics & Transport (CILT), Continuous Professional Development
Standards Office (CPDSO), International Association of Six Sigma (IASSC),
Axelos (Prince2®). We area registered UK
Learning Provider (10055520)
We specialise in accredited and bespoke training courses for both
individuals and businesses. Serving United Kingdom and International markets
for face 2 face learning and company on-site training.
Established in 2013 in order to raise and widen participation and
achievement of candidates within their chosen industry, therefore becoming a

France
– APRECA
APRECA is a private in-service adult education
organisation created in 1990. Its European vocation emerged first, through its
language teaching department as a University of Cambridge examination centre
for the Regions of Champagne-Ardenne and Bourgogne, Pilot Centre in France for
the DIRECT ENGLISH method developed by the PEARSON group) and since 1991,
through the European mobility programme EURODYSSEE.
APRECA has developed its know-how through European
programmes as LEONARDO DA VINCI, ADAPT, ADAPT/STEER. Thanks to this experience
and a huge network of European partners, APRECA is willing to put its know-how
at the disposal of the different public authorities and in this way to be a
“logistic platform” in the European transnational programmes.
APRECA has offices in the regions of Ile-de-France,
Champagne-Ardenne and Bourgogne and this has allowed the development of an
extensive network of hosting companies in a wide range of activity sectors and
this is a key factor in being able to find appropriate solutions and outcomes
to meet the specific requirements of our European partners.
Since 1990,
APRECA has been actively involved with the management of European work
placement programs. To date, APRECA has organised mobility projects for more
than 15,000 trainees (VET learners, job seekers, apprentices and
students).
Working
with a wide network of European partners such as local authorities, private
companies and educational establishments, APRECA arranges work placements for
French trainees all over Europe and also manages the hosting in France of
trainees from other European countries.
Apreca
regularly participates in projects and partnerships with the aim of improving
the quality of its processes. For example, APRECA is also a member of the
French Expert mobility network, managed by the French National Erasmus+ Agency
as is recognised as an official ‘mobility developer’.
France
– Jean-Luc Moreau Conseil – JLMC
After several decades of experience in the field of vocational
training and more precisely in training engineering and pedagogical innovation,
JLMC a consulting company was created in 2010.
Since then, JLMC has mainly worked in the external evaluation of
innovative vocational training projects in the field of the LEONARDO, then
ERASMUS+ and INTERREG programmes.
JLMC has been working with the National Agencies (French, Belgian and
Swiss) as an external evaluator and referent for 5 years for mobility projects
and for 2 years for strategic partnership projects.
JLMC continue to work with project leaders by providing external evaluation of
LEONARDO and ERASMUS+ projects – after responding to open calls for tenders –
and technical assistance for an INTERREG or INTERREG project.
JLMC also provides occasional training in the actions of the ERASMUS+
programme.
Germany – Berlink
BERLINK is a German organization with a
consolidated experience in organising qualified professional, educational and
work placement experiences in Berlin. The aim of the company matches to the
general goals set by the Erasmus Plus programme: enhancing attractiveness,
improving the quality and increasing the volume of mobility and co-operation
between educational institutions and enterprises.
BERLINK has in fact a strong
collaboration with a wide network of local companies, and is actively involved
in EU projects that compile innovative experiences and good practices on active
participation of SMEs as host partners in mobility projects. Thanks also to a
solid network of international partners and an on-going process of
transnational experiences exchange, BERLINK is able to provide work placement
experiences with a relevant impact on the learning process, by applying
innovative methods (ECVET system implementation) and a common approach to plan
and deliver successful training on the job preparing for work experiences.
BERLINK is very active in the
participation of European projects with the aim of enhancing the development,
transfer and implementation of innovative practices, fostering the use of ICT
in education, training and labour market.
BERLINK is part of “ETN
Network” with companies in Italy (Rimini), Spain (Malaga), Bulgaria
(Sofia), UK (Portsmouth and Bournemouth) and Ireland (Cork).
Italy – CEDIT
CEDIT – Centre of Entrepreneurial
Diffusion of Tuscany – was born thanks to the willingness of Confartigianato
Imprese Toscana, Tuscan Association of Crafts and SMEs, in order to promote
entrepreneurship and to support the growth of Small and Medium Enterprises,
developing a constant activity of consultancy, planning and vocational
training. CEDIT has the goal of disseminating a modern entrepreneurial culture
and of working in strict collaboration with the Entrepreneurial Association,
which represents almost 30.000 enterprise in Tuscany (110 offices on the
Regional territory) and which is linked to all the others territorial and
regional Associations.
CEDIT builds corporate projects, performs
market researches, provides consulting services, helps the development of
tools, suggests guidelines for professional employability and entrepreneurship
and for the training of organizations, developing actions and projects in the
fields of training and business development within the EU. Specifically, CEDIT
designs, manages and implements programs for mobility and exchanges of young
people, workers, entrepreneurs and trainers in order to facilitate the
development of cultural educational and professional qualification. C
CEDIT works closely with Confartigianato
Imprese Toscana, delivering workshops and individual support to people wanting
to start a new enterprise.
Spain – AM TRANSNATIONAL – AMT
AM Transnational (AMT) is a Spanish language and
training centre and consultancy firm specialised in the management of
Educational programs for youngsters throughout Europe.
Since our foundation in 2003 we have
participated in hundreds of European mobility programs as sending and hosting
partners. We tailor make every program
to ensure its success. We handle projects from initial consultancy through
completion, providing a fully managed end-to-end service. We are experts in all
the phases of transnational mobility programs including projects drafting,
submission, and implementation and final project results.
As a hosting partner, we provide quality
services involved in mobility programs, including: transfers from and to the
airport, welcome meeting, appropriate accommodation, cultural and linguistic
preparation, training in an adequate company taking into consideration the
trainee´s profile and expectations, monitoring of the placement period, validation
and final certification.
Our aim is to enhance and improve
professional qualifications of young people, by implementing
their individual competences and linguistic skills, their transversal
abilities and quantifying / capitalising on their achievements. But for us, it
is equally important to ensure that the trainee has the means to enjoy the
mobility experience at a personal level too.
Over the
years we have participated in numerous training projects, both as sending and
receiving institution, so that we have succeeded in constructing and managing a
wide network of partners made of business, local and regional authorities and
educational centres. We are at the forefront of improving quality in our
mobility projects and we play an active role in researching, experimenting and
implementing skill transfers.
Our team is made of qualified
professionals with a real passion for the mobility experience.
We also participate in international projects
and / or partnerships aiming to improve cooperation in mobility processes and
share know-how in this area.
Associated Partners
In order to
increase the reach of the project in terms of countries, type of partners, and
impact of the ShowValA project, there are 9 Associated Partners.
These partners
include universities, school, training centres, a business association, a
mobility service provider, a cultural body & a chamber of commerce. This
will help to increase the breadth & impact of the project. They will be
invited to meetings, focus groups & to the project conferences & have
agreed to cover costs from their own funds. Several have also agreed to take
part in the Testing Phase of the project for the intellectual outputs.
These associated
partners will provide a precious detached view of the outputs & have also
agreed to play an active role in the dissemination of information about then
project & its results, thereby making a significant contribution to
guaranteeing the widespread impact of the project.
1. Universidad Pablo de Olavide, Séville
has its own Erasmus+ Charter & all students at both Bachelor & Master
levels are encouraged to undertake either a study period of work-based learning
abroad. The University is particularly interested in ShowValA as it could help
objectively assign credits for work-based placements. The University will also
disseminate the results amongst its network of partner universities all over
the world.
2. Verein zur Qualifizierung in
traditionellen und modernen Bautechniken e.V. is a registered association is
supported by the building trade tarif partners of Berlin. It works in close
collaboration with the local Chambers of Commerce. It will play an active role
in the dissemination of the project outputs.
3. Alicaaproposta LDA is an experienced
educational service provider with extensive experience of European programmes.
They participated in numerous projects related to pedagogical development &
international mobility. They see being able to recognise & showcase achievements
in work-based mobility as an additional selling point for the company & for
partner institutions towards their students. They will test the ShowValA
outputs & attend meetings if time permits.
4. AOCDTF supports young people in
developing their professional skills to a high standard in their chosen trade.
Sharing knowledge, expertise via travel & community living are the
foundations of “Les Compagnons du Devoir”. They expect trainees to be open to
travelling abroad & are interested in any project that helps evaluate
learning & achievements.
5. IES Lucus Solis, Seville is one of
the largest schools in Sevilla with a vocational training section. They
currently send 20 apprentices abroad for WBL & hope that ShowValA platform
will allow them to assign value to learning & encourage students to do TWBL
in the future.
6. IRFA APISUP CCI Picardie is attached
to Regional Chamber of Commerce & Industry for the Hauts de France region.
It is an apprentice training centre for apprentices doing Bachelor or Masters
courses in one of the 8 Higher Education Institutions in Picardie. There are
currently 492 apprentices. They have been involved in Interreg projects but not
Erasmus+ They have a mobility programme for the apprentices involving 2-4 weeks
of linguistic training, followed by a work placement of 3-12 weeks in the UK.
IRFA is particularly interested in ShowValA platform as it may enable them to
open up the programme to all 4 their apprentices instead of the 70 they
currently send. They plan to take part in the meetings in France, the Focus
Groups, Evaluation Workshops & the End of Project conference in the UK
& France.
7. Associazione Culturale Centro
Mediterraneo Pintadera is a cultural organization, from Alghero, Sardinia
focusing on the divulgation of the Italian language & culture. They work
closely with schools & training centres in Sardinia & Italian language
& cultural courses are an integral part of a broader project of promotion
of activities that lead to an intercultural exchange. Since 2006 Pintadera has
been involved in European mobility projects as a hosting organisation for
various counties in Norway & France in particular.
8. ACB – Associacao Comercial de Braga
is the Chamber of Commerce for Braga & the surrounding region. They host
over 1,000 trainees from countries all over Europe & are interested in
developing the benefits for trainees in WBL to help stimulate the economic
development of the region.
9. Confartigianato Imprese Toscana is
the Chamber of Commerce from the Toscany region in Italy. They will help with
dissemination and to encourage more training centres to offer TWBL.
